Originally a coaching inn for the Leeds-Kendal stagecoaches, the cottage was beautifully converted to a comfortable modern home in 2003. On the edge of the attractive village of Ingleton, with its many shops, cafes and pubs, this is an excellent base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, but the Lake District is also just a short drive away.

Sleeps 5 - 1 double ensuite, 1 twin, 1 single; large living room with TV, DVD, CD/MP3/radio, wifi hub; kitchen diner with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine; bathroom, en-suite shower room and downstairs cloakroom; gas central heating, all power, wifi and bed linen included; patio garden with bench; parking for 1 car (with street parking for any further cars); sorry, no smoking.

Around and About

Ingleton is a picturesque village nestling at the foot of Ingleborough, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales and not far from the Lakeland towns of Kendal, Windermere and Ambleside. In the immediate area is some spectacular limestone scenery, with a raw and rugged beauty. The village itself has numerous pubs, cafes and shops, plus an outdoor swimming pool (summer only) and an excellent children’s play area. The Settle-Carlisle Railway and the impressive Ribblehead Viaduct is a few miles up the valley. Local attractions include White Scar Caves and the Ingleton Waterfalls Walk. There are interesting towns and villages to explore, such as Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle, Malham, Skipton, Lancaster and Sedbergh all within a short drive.
